this is part of my 365 Series for a reason… today’s handy, dandy inquiry from my 365 book via the great folks at Anthropologie… is “Document something that inspires you today!”
So, here goes the story…
Today in history is a “snow day”… it is a day following soft snow falling and massive accumulation of “slushy roads” throughout the area.
It is a day where we sleep in, keep the big guy at home and the little guy goes to school regardless (for many reasons, but a break is number one).
A day where work gets underway a little late, but I am über thankful I get to work in my “in progress” new premiere room. (See below) There is SUNLIGHT! Oh, how this make me happy…![]()
(My old premiere room didn’t have sun light… it was starting to get a little depressing!
)

A day where I get distracted on Facebook (the devil in disguise, right? Present day society’s best waste of time?), and get prompted by a modeling series a photographer “friend” has posted. I was enthralled with the light and how it fell across the subject… the execution, and artistry! The images were stunning, well executed, had a great “pulling in” power to them, and were quite striking… PERIOD! For the first time in almost (gosh, guessing here) three years, I was prompted to preview the work of Thailand Wedding Photographer, Rion! My inspiration was renewed, and I was enthralled all over again by his jaw dropping execution of the stories he is able to tell with his camera at weddings. In four clicks, this wedding photographer made it on to my list of wedding photographers should that day ever come… he is halfway (or all the way around the world), but be sure to check out his site… I have linked to it above! ![]()
