{ Senior } Photo Tips: The Digital Options

This entry is part 1 of 15 in the series Senior Portrait Tips

Yesterday we discussed what things would “really cost,” and today we are going to chitter chat a little about digital options.

Q:  Do you ever offer a disc of images for Seniors?
A:  Yes, I do have a image portfolios/collections + DVD option that is available as an add-on to all orders over $900.

Typically clients that invest in this (the DVD/Digital) option spend from $1700-2200.

Q:  Do your digital options ever go on sale?
A:
I do offer incentives and coupons as thanks for your business and patronage; however, “sales” in the traditional sense.  Typically, not.

For example:  had you booked your session prior to January 31, 2010 — you would have earned a $100 coupon toward the purchase of a image portfolio, etc.

As always, my referral incentives are to genuinely say thank you for your business, and those incentives start at $47 for each referral that retains a commission.

The only fine print is:  Your retainer must be paid PRIOR to receiving the referral coupons, and the coupons are only valid for additional purchases, they do not decrease the initial commission.

Q:  Do you have a Senior Rep Program?  My friends do those sometimes!
A:
Christina views the majority of the rep programs presented by clients as a bait and switch tactic, and some are blatantly dishonest.  Until Christina can define a model/structure that HONESTLY benefits both the studio and the client, she will continue to choose to employ a standard referral program.

I am very excited about the opportunity to photograph your senior portraits.
