Today at Lifegate Church here in Omaha, Nebraska… we learned many things…I wrote so much the gentleman next to me thought I was a loon; but alas… I learned…
I learned that:
God wants to heal our family, our hearts and our hurt.
I have linked the above statements to Pastor Les Beauchamp’s sermon; and will leave the formal statements to him….. but in the interest of Seeking God and Making Change in our own lives… I have opted to disconnect our cable. (We did this a while ago…) We are not turning on Netflix till February 5 when the fast with the congregation ends. And just today… I have added electronic devices… DS, gaming devices, etc.
It will be some nice quiet time to catch up on our reading, work on focusing differently and toward more positive things… and to look toward a better tomorrow.
It’s exciting…
