In the very first of this great series, we briefly discussed how I met Mark.
Today, in part four, um or maybe ten (hehe) we will chat about the first time I met Ms. Katie…
It was a cold winter day in Late December or Early January, I cannot recall which right off hand; but I digress. The snow banks where still high at the studio preventing use of the front walk let alone the front steps.
She had come from “mid-west” Omaha to discuss her wedding day and the photography needs with me.
When she arrived, I was instantly impressed! This GORGEOUS young woman was in a baseball cap! ![]()
We chatted all things wedding:
- the wedding dress (I got to see it).
- the bridesmaids dress
- the flowers
- the wedding venue (it is simply stunning).
- the wedding invitations
- save the date cards
- and
- and
- and
then, we chatted photography budget and needs and looked and images… LOTS and LOTS of images.
I was so incredibly excited! Not just because I was confident that I had presented well and that I would soon be booking this great gig, but also because it was a gig I wanted.
Photographing for exceptional people is part of what makes my career so amazing. Ms. Katie’s engagement photos were everything I thought they would be and more…
Stunning…
Classic…
Modern…
Passionate…
Sensual…
Vibrant…
All in all… a great Cinco de Mayo!
