Yes, it is true.
Cox Cable likely isn’t to smitten with me attempting to lower my bill by about 70$ a month; but I am convinced it was a good move.
WHY?
A) Netflix is free (well, almost), and if I don’t have the ten dollars, the boys can read until I do.
B) We need a new focus in this home. A more Christ centered focus, and let me tell you… Spongebob isn’t it.
C) I like to read, but honestly… brain-dulling TV seems to be the more ideal choice these days… so I am removing it as an option… FROM EVERYONE’S BEDROOM!
D) We need to focus on more positive things in our home, and honestly… there isn’t alot of that on the USA network, Nickelodean, ABC, CBS, NBC, Lifetime, you name it… it isn’t the best thing with which to fill our brains, so we are opting out.
E) My affirmation man needs more space with which to fill the neural structures of the boys and my brain(s)… it simply is what it is, and this is one more step toward a better tomorrow for all of us.
F) My smart TV has news all the time, and MSNBC can rock it out if I feel I need more than that.
I am certain right now that more will come to me… but alas…
WHY IS TELEVISION SO IMPORTANT TO THE AMERICAN POPULATION?
Could you do without it?
What would your family life center around without it? Would it be more positive than your current state?
What would it take to FORCE you to make the same choice? Or… would you do it willingly?
