Decorating and Designing Your Space(s) :: Choosing the size of your portraits!

This entry is part 1 of 4 in the series Designing and Decorating Your Spaces

When decorating your space(s) with your finished images, it really is more important to consider aesthetics over price.

One knows they have chosen an appropriately sized image and framing compliments when the finished piece draws attention in the space it is displayed, yet doesn’t appear to crowd that space.

For example:  An 8×10 image displayed above your sofa is likely far too small!

Christina encourages her clients to measure their furniture and not to shy away from custom print sizes that will fit the space well and compliment the image.

When choosing wall collections, one should carefully choose the images to be hung together.  Should the “overall” composition be vertical or horizontal?  Christina will present some collections soon that will help visualize these things.

Artistic portraits are amazing and appropriate for display in both public and private rooms.   Ensure you choose a display space where your family and friends can enjoy them the most.
