Hiring a custom photographer is a luxury, and an investment you won’t soon regret. It certainly isn’t your entry level chain experience, nor is it a cut/paste image production process (cut out one person, paste in another, etc).
A custom portrait experience may not be for everyone; as it does require a certain level of commitment in time and investments. There is a process of planning for both the client and the photographer to create ART for your home and personal spaces.
If one enjoys designing their spaces and desires to take part in planning the creation of art to fill those spaces, you will LOVE Christina’s work. Christina’s more discerning clients have been known to budget and allot time for a custom photography session. Many clients opt for it to be a once a year special experience, some opt to have custom photography sessions done to record their child’s stages in life.
In previewing the investment options, it is clear that custom photography is not in everyone’s budget, it is something for which most families save enabling them to splurge from time to time to memorialize their children in their element and exposing their true personalities.
Christina posted a few days ago about the “process” of booking and executing your session and the thereafters. Your session time is likely to be only a small part of the process, but all the time invested is SOOO worth it in the end. Christina has simplified the “levels” for her clients to create a simplified process for booking, planning and executing a fine session experience. She opts to let you design your experience and your purchase. Sloan Images doesn’t offer packages, the studio simply offers custom designed portrait experiences.
It is Christina’s sincere hope that you retain a commission trusting that your final images are the result of her genuine care about those moments. So much care that she takes extra time ensuring that the artwork you receive is portfolio worthy each and every time.
That level of quality and commitment is all but lost in the age of “mass produced,” “mass marketed,” corporate “everyone is a number” image production. Your commission and everything about it is unique to you.
