and we tried… and tried… (though admittedly not REALLY hard) to find a Monday or Wednesday to produce some amazing ROCKIN’ images.
Ms. Katie and I waited patiently and tracked the weather for these dates and lo-and behold two weeks later, we have a winner!
Oh what a night it was! — But, I digress, lets discuss first how I met Mark and Katie!
About a year ago, I photographed Ms. Morgynn’s senior photos! (Very honestly, they are on the old blog and I am simply too lazy to hyperlink). They turned out über fabulous…and though that process, I met Mark. Since then, I have completed other projects with Mark, and when I have the time to dedicate to the process, I will certainly be contacting him to help me with the after-effects of baby number two. He is very simply one of the most amazing men I have ever met…
- kind
- passionate
- accountable
- chivalrous
and a Christian! The true test of a good man is when he holds the door for the photographer, too… then you know your bride has it made!
Mark’s heart (despite the rough exterior) is worn on his sleeve! His love for Ms. Katie is apparent in so many ways. The way he treats her, admires her with his eyes, and defines her with his words. It is apparent that I find many fabulous qualities in every couple I get the honour of photographing; but Mark’s mature Christ-like love for Ms. Katie shines through…as does her love for him, and it is like nothing I have ever seen. If I hadn’t found so much happiness in the process and for their happiness, I may have been jealous! 
Katie is:
- kind
- genuine
- free-spirited
- loving
- and beautiful;
but no one should ever second guess that her outer beauty places a distant second to her inner beauty. Katie is a person you just want to be around because she makes your world a better place to be. It is that simple.
We started the day with a plan… but my visions didn’t lead us there, and as the time passed, we abandoned our plan — and the images we created show the whimsy of the night and the amazing time we had.
As I work through my series-shooting masses of images… I will share more… but for now… here is the fourth or fifth “stop” on the tour! I simply couldn’t ask for better!

You may never know how thankful I am to have met you or how much you have blessed my life. Thank you for entrusting your visual memories to me. I cannot wait to photograph your wedding.
